Nirmala Thonse organizes Awareness Campaign against Plastic Products.

Kemmannu, 04 October 2018: Non Governmental Organization Nirmala Thonse, which was formed recently to create awareness about environment and save it, organized awareness campaign at Kemmannu Weekly Market. The campaign highlighted the dangers posed by the use of plastic carry bags and plastic products in general.

Volunteers distributed pamphlets highlighting the dangers posed by the plastic products and distributed Bio-degradable carry bags to people who visited the market and requested them not to use plastic bags in the future. Resource persons spoke about the dangers plastic would have on the environment and Eco system.

It is planned to continue the campaign for another 2 market days to make it more effective.

Nirmala Thonse NGO was inaugurated recently under the Honorary Presidentship of Mr.B.M. Jaffer Thonse with Mr. Venkatesh Kunder as President and Mr. M.S. Khan as secretary. The committee consists of 18 members along with the Advisors.

Kallianpur Rotary President Mr. Braan D’ Souza , Mr. Sathish Shetty, President, Ganapathi Co-operative Society, Kemmannu, Environmentalist Mr. Joseph M. Rebello, Kemmannu Panchayat President Mrs. Fauzia Sadiq, Taluk Panchayat Member Mrs. Sulochana visited the place and supported the cause.

ನಿರ್ಮಲ ತೋನ್ಸೆ  ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ,  ತೋನ್ಸೆ ಹೆಲ್ತ್ ಸೆಂಟರ್. ಹೂಡೆ ಇವರ  ನೆತ್ರತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ    ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯ ಜನ ಜಾಗೃತಿ,  ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ತಾ 04-10-2018 ರಂದು ಕೆಮ್ಮಣ್ಣು ತೋನ್ಸೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರುವಾರ ವಾರದ ಸಂತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು

ನಿರ್ಮಲ ತೋನ್ಸೆ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ  ಹಾಗು 31ನೇ ತೋನ್ಸೆ ಗ್ರಾಮ್ ಪಂಚಾಯತು ಸಹಭಾಗಿತ್ವದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ  ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಬಳಕೆಯ ದುಷ್ಪರಿಣಾಮದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ  ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಧ್ವನಿವರ್ಧಕಗಳ ಮುಲಕ ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದ ಅಥಿತಿಗಳಿಂದ ರವಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ನಿರ್ಮಲ ತೋನ್ಸೆಯವರಿಂದ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯ ಕ್ಯೆ ಚೀಲಗಳನ್ನು ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಗ್ರಾಹಕರಿಗೆ ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು ಹಾಗು ವ್ಯಾಪರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ ಕ್ಯೆ ಚೀಲ ವಿತರಿಸದಂತೆ ಮನವರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು.

ರೊಟರಿ ಕ್ಲಬ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಬ್ರಾನ್ ಡಿಸೊಜ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರಕಾರದ ಜಲ ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಜೋಸೆಪ್ ರೆಬೆಲ್ಲೊ , ನಿರ್ಮಲ ತೋನ್ಸೆ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ  ವೆಂಕಟೇಶ ಜಿ ಕುಂದರ್, ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ  ಮಹಮದ ಸಾಯಿದ ಖಾನ್, ಸತಿಶ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ತಾಲುಕು ಪಂಚಾಯತು ಸದಸ್ಯೆ ಸುಲೋಚನ,  ಬ್ಯೆಕಾಡಿ ಹುಸೆನ ಸಾಹೆಬ್ ಇವರು ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಬಳಕೆಯ ದುಷ್ಪರಿಣಾಮದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರ ಗಮನಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದು ಸಂತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯವಹಾರ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸೊಪ್ಪು ತರಕಾರಿ ಮಾರಾಟಗಾರರು ತೋನ್ಸೆ ಕೆಮ್ಮಣ್ಣು  ಸಂತೆಯ ಗ್ರಾಹಕರಿಗೆ ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ ಕ್ಯೆ ಚೀಲ ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಕೊಡಲಾರೆವು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು  ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರಿಗು  ತಿಳಿಸುತಿದ್ದರು.

ಮೊಹಮ್ಮದ್ ಸಯಿಫ್, ಜಫ್ರುಲ್ಲ, ರೊನಾಲ್ಡ್ ಮಿನೇಜಸ್, ,  31ನೇ ತೋನ್ಸೆ ಪಂಚಾಯತು ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ. ಪೌಜಿಯಾ ಪರ್ವಿನ್,   ಡಾ ಶ್ರುತಾ ದಯನಂದ್, ಜಿ  ಅಶ್ರಫ್, ರವಿ ಕೆ ಸುವರ್ಣ, ಅರುಣ ಪೆರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ , ಇದ್ರೀಸ್, ಜ್ಯೊತಿ ಲುವಿಸ್, ಶಾಂತಿ, ಬೆನೆಡಿಕ್ಟಾ ಮಿನೇಜಸ್,  ಜೊರ್ಜ್ ಲುವಿಸ್, ತೋಮಸ ಡಿ’ ಸೊಜ, ರಿಚ್ಚರ್ಡ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ಟೊ ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು.

ಬಿ ಎಮ್ ಜಾಫರ್ ತೋನ್ಸೆ ಹೆಲ್ತ್ ಸೆಂಟರ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರು  ತೋನ್ಸೆಯ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯ ಉತ್ತಮ ಆದರ್ಶದ ಹೊಣೆಗಾರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಬಹು ಜನ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರವಾಗಿದೆ.
