Udupi : Milagres High School, Kallianpur celebrated annual school day here on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Milagres Tri Centenary Hall, Kallianpur.

In the absence of Correspondent of Milagres Educational Institutions, Dr. Nery Cornelio, Vice President of Milagres Cathedral Parish Pastoral Council presided over the programme. Rev Fr. Lancy Fernandes, SJ , Principal of Milagres English Medium Schools, Rtn. PHF K Subbanna Pai, Asst Governor of Rotary Zone 3, Alumni and Proprietor of Kallianpur Saw Mills, Clerence D’Souza of Bright Electricals Santhekatte and Alumni, Dr. Shailesh Y Acharya, MD(Ayu) Asst. Professor, SDM Ayurvedic  College, Kithpady, Udupi and Alumni, Dr. Umanath R Poojary, BE., MTec, Phd., Asst. Professor, Mechanical And Manufacturing Engineering Division, MIT, Manipal and Alumni were the chief guests.

Paul Lobo Headmaster of Milagres High School placed the brief report of the school for the academic year. Prizes were distributed to merit students during the occasion. Prizes also distributed to achievements in sports on the occasion.

The old students and chief guests Rtn Subbanna Pai, Clerence D’Souza, Dr. Shailash Acharya  and Dr. Umanash S Poojary were felicitated on the occasion.

In his address Subbanna Pai said that thousands of students who studied in the Milagres Kannada Medium School should remember their school which has given to them the successful life and dignity. It is very important to be positive and be among positive people. Nothing is impossible if the students are motivated to achieve.

Dr. Shailesh y Acharya and Dr. Umanath R Poojary pointed out their some of the memories during her studies in the Milagres School. Fr. Lancy Fernandes sj also spoke briefly on the occasion.

Dr. Nery Cornelio said that academics, excellence, achievement, co-curricular activities should be students motto. If not it is going to derail forever. Hence, the students should not give opportunity to disappointment later in the life.

Earlier Yakshagana play was held on the occasion. Fantastic various dances, skit and other were displayed on the occasion.
