Kemmannu, January 09: Annual Parish Feast of Kemmannu Parish patron saint St.Theresa was celebrated on Wednesday, the 09thJanuary at Kemmannu church.
 
 ‘Manacho Vaati’, blessed candles were distributed to church Founders, Benefactors, Donors and to all parish families. Fr. Clement Mascarenhas, who served as Parish Priest of Kemmannu a few years ago led the high mass with host of other guest priest joining him at the altar.
 
Fr. Clement delivered a powerful homily dwelling on the short life of St. Theresa and the message she left behind her to us and also stressed the need to accommodate and give a space our fellow citizens to lead a peaceful and happy life in this world.
 
At the end of the mass, special candles were distributed to the donors who had contributed generously as there was no single sponsor or Pirgent for this year’s feast.
 
The three day programs arrangement were co-ordinated by parish priest Fr. Victor D Souza, Church VP Mr. Charles Lewis and Secretary Mrs. Felcy D Souza along with parish council members, Gurkars, ICYM, YCS and other church associations.
