Jesus’ Triumphant Entry to Jerusalem
St John the Evangelist Church, Pangala, Shankarpura observed the triumphant entry to Jerusalem popularly known as ‘Palm Sunday’ on the 14th of April, 2019. The Parishioners gathered near the school premises at 7:00 am in the morning. Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Ferdinand Gonsalves along with asst. parish priest Fr royson fernandes, Fr. Vincent Coelho, and Fr Romeo lewis blessed the Palm leaves and were then distributed to the people.
It was followed by a procession to the Church. The Eucharistic celebration was celebrated by Fr Ferdinand Gonsalves. The Liturgy of the day was enhanced by the melodious parish Choir.
