Print ICYM Kalmady proudly presents the second season of its signature event ‘Hasyancho Phugetyo’ ,a laughter battle between well known teams of Udupi diocese on Easter Sunday April 21, 2019 at Stella Maris Church , Kalmady grounds.
This is a unique comedy skit competition and Konkani cultural extravaganza. A competition to develop Konkani language by means of comedy. This competition will be a opportunity to bring out the hidden talents and also to provide a stage to prove themselves.
Nach Soban, Mangalore will add more glamour to this program with their dance moves.
Winning team will take home a cash amount of Rs 15,000/- and trophy also first and second runners up will get 10,000/- and 5,000/- and trophies simultaneously. Also, best actor and best actress award and best young actor / actress award will be presented for the best performers.
The Hasyancho phugetyo season 1 that was organized last year was indeed a success and had witnessed a large number of spectators.

The official Logo of ‘Hasyancho Phugetyo’ was unveiled by Fr Alban D’Souza, Parish Priest, Stella Maris Church, Kalmady along with Fr Praveen Monterio, Resident Priest Kalmady, Sanjay Andrade, Vice President , Parish Pastoral council, Shoba Mendonca, secretary , Parish Pastoral council, Francis Fernandes, Coordinator 18 commission, Dion D’Souza, President, ICYM Udupi Diocese, Melwyn Carvelho, President ICYM Kalmady Unit and other members of ICYM Kalmady unit.
