Print Silver ‘Prabhavali’ presented to Deity of Sri Bhadrakali Maha Marikamba Temple, Gudiyam, Kemmannu.
Kemmannu, May 8, 2019 : Silver ‘Prabhavali’ was presented to Deity of Sri Bhadrakali Maha Marikamba Temple of Gudiyam, Kemmannu. The Prabavali is donated by Mr. Ramanath V.Shetty, Nephew of Thone Padumane Mr. Jayakrishna Shetty of “Jayakrishna Parisara Premi Samiti”.
The Prabhavali was taken from Hampankatte to Gudiyam Temple in a colorful procession accompanied by Drum beaters, Ladies of the Self Help Groups and other general public. The Prabhavali was carried in a special decked vehicle. Dignitaries including Mr. Jayakrisha Shetty, Mr. Raghuram Shetty and others accompanied and took part in the procession.
At the Temple premises, the Prabhavali was welcomed and received by the Priests of the Temple with Kandige Raghavendra Bhat as the main priest. After the rituals of blessing the Prabhavali was installed at the Temple.
This will be followed by 3 days programs at the Temple including “Puna:prathiste”, “Chandikayaga”, “Brahmakalashabisheka” and “Annasantharpane”.
Large number of devotees are attending and taking part in these programs.
