Brahmakalabisheka, Maha Anna Santarpane and Religious meet at Bhadrakali Temple, Gudiyam Kemmannu.

Kemmannu, May 10, 2019: The rituals, Poojas and Religious festivities continued for the third day at the Sri Bhadrakali Maha Marikamba Temple Gudiyam, Kemmannu. The day began with the ‘Adivasa Homa’ in the morning and ‘Brahmakalabisheka’ Maha Pooje being the highlight of the day. This Pooja was performed after 23 years in this temple.

President of the Temple committee, Mr. Jayakrishna A. Shetty Padumane along with his wife Shobha Jayakrishna Shetty was present during the pooja and homa.

At noon a ‘Maha Anna Santharpane’ was organized to the general devotees and general public. This was sponsored by Kenyan Entrepreneur Mr. Alfred Crasto of Mudalakatte, Kemmannu. Around 3000 people joined and received the Prasadam of Anna Santharpane.

In the evening, a stage program, Religious meet was organized, where Mr. Jayakrishna Shetty presided over the function. Sri Vidyaprasanna Thirthapada of Kukke Subramanya Mutt was the chief guest and speaker on the occasion. Peoples representatives Nalinkumar Kateel, Jayaprakash Hegde, Kota Srinivas Poojary, Raghupati Bhat, Janardhan Thone, Priest Fr. Herald Pereira, Divakar Shetty, Dr. Mohd Rafic, Suresh Bhandary, entrepreneur Frank Fernandes, Prof Shankar, Jagdish Adhikari, Thonse Padumane Sadashiv Shetty, Honorary President Thonse Padumane Raghuram Hegde, Convener Mr. Raghuram Shetty, Nityananda Kotian Secretary Sadashiv Kotian were present during the occasion.

Mr. Leo Crasto, Father of Alfred Crasto, Mr. Raghram Shetty were also honored on the occasion.

This concluded the 3 days of special Poojas, prayers and other cultural activities at the temple.
