Udupi : St Sebastian (Tenkabettu) Ward of Milagres Cathedral celebrated annual ward fest on Sunday, May 19, 2019. The thanksgiving mass held at Milagres Cathedral for Ward Patron, St Sebastian at 8 am mass which concelebrated by Very Rev Dr. Lawrence C D’Souza, Rev Fr. Lancy Fernandes sj Principal of Milagres English Medium Schools and Rev Fr. R. Fernandes parishioner priest.  

Rev Fr. Lancy Fernandes sj underlined about the love as per the day’s liturgy. Huge ward people participated in offerings during the mass.

In the evening get together of ward people held at Jyotshna Home for the aged at Tenkabettu. Very Rev Dr. Lawrence D’Souza, Rev Fr. Canute Noronha, Rev Fr. Lancy Fernances, Sr. Diana of Rose Convent, Dr. Nery Cornelio vice president and Felciana Lewis of Parish Pastoral council, Leslie Lewis and Patrick Lewis Gurkar of the ward were present on the dais.

Gurkar Patrick Lewis welcomed the gatherings. Various entertainment programmes include dances, singing, beautiful skit and various games for children and others were conducted. The games conducted by Jason Pais and Smitha Lewis.

Prizes were distributed to winners of various games by the guests. The achievers in school and colleges were honored during the occasion.

Fr. Canute Noronha, Fr. Lawrence D’Souza, Dr Nery Cornelio were spoke during the occasion. Fr. Lancy placed some the likes and dislikes on the programme during the occasion.

Prema Lewis proposed vote of thanks and compered the programme. The huge ward people, non-Christian and SMS church parishioners were present. Dinner was served to all the participants.
