Udupi : The present coalition state government becomes obstacle for the government as well as for the people. Hence, it would be better to take back the support for Janata Dal Secular party led government, said Karnataka Dalitha Sangharsha Samithi (Ambedkar Vaadi), State Committee Convener Mavalli Shankar.

Addressing a press conference at Udupi Press Club here on Wednesday, June 19, Mavalli Shankar said that Siddaramiah government was favourable for the Daliths of the state. But presently, the coalition government not in favour of Daliths, SCs, STs and backward communities, he alleged.

Since 72 years of Independence, the daliths at large, now and then situation occurred to protest and beg to get benefits and various facilities as per the constitution of the country. Both the Union government and the state governments not honestly provide various facilities to backward communities. Hence, daliths will demand once again with the concerned governments to get the same.

Previous year in the state, the various grants not used systematically and cheated the backward communities crores of amount.

The able president has not appointed for the Commission of Backward and Scheduled castes and Tribes. It would be necessary to legal expert in the backward department. The Union government not reserved constitutionally proper grants, should be take into account, he said.
