Udupi : Entrepreneur, philanthropist Bhuvanendra Kediyur will be felicitated to mark his 75^th birthday and Rathnotsava on Sunday, July 21 at Shamili Auditorium, Ambalpady.

Addressing a media conference at Udupi Press Club on Wednesday, July 17, Murali Kadekar, General Secretary of Felicitation Committee here said that Bhuvanendra Kediyur has done marvelous contribution to social, cultural and educational fields. Not only have that, his contribution in related to religious matters, especially during all paryayas in Udupi, his contribution great. Hence, it would be need to felicitate him which will inspire to others.

The felicitation programmes will begin at 9 am with musical concert by Chandrashekar and team from Shruthi Music, Yermal and followed by prayer dance will be performed by Nrithya Nikethan, Kodavoor under the director of Vidwan Sudhir Rao on Sunday, July 21.

From 10 am felicitation programme will be started which Dr. H S Ballal Pro-chancellor of Manipal University will preside over the programme.

Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Math, Sri Vidyasagar Theertha Swami of Sri Krishnapur Math, Sri Vishwaprasanna Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Math and Sri Vidhyavallabha Theertha Swami of Kaniyoor Math will bless the occasion and give their messages.

Sri D. V. Sadananda Gowda, Union Minister for Chemical and Fertilizers will inaugurate the programme. Very Rev Fr. Valerian Mendonca Parish Priest of Mother of Sorrows Church and dean of Udupi deanery will address the gathering.

Kabiyadi Jayaram Acharya, Astrologer and scholar will also address the programme.
