Print Dengue and malaria awareness sand sculpture created by Artist Srinath Manipal in Manipal on Friday.
The sculpture shows huge mosquito with alert message of dengue and malaria.
Symptoms can appear up to 7 days after being bitten by the mosquito that carries the virus. Aching muscles and joints, body rash that can disappear and then reappear, high fever, intense headache, pain behind the eyes, vomiting and feeling nauseous. Symptoms usually disappear after a week, and mild dengue rarely involves serious or fatal complications.

ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರ ಸಹಯೋಗವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ರೋಗ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ಅಸಾದ್ಯ.
ಈ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಿವು ಮತ್ತು ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಮಣಿಪಾಲ್ ಸ್ಯಾಂಡ್ ಹಾರ್ಟ್‍ನ ಕಲಾವಿದರಾದ ಶ್ರೀನಾಥ್ ಮಣಿಪಾಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ರವಿ ಹಿರೆಬೆಟ್ಟು ಮಣಿಪಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಮರಳುಶಿಲ್ಪ ರಚಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಮನೆಯ ಆವರಣ ಮತ್ತುಎಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನೀರು ನಿಂತು ಡೆಂಗ್ಯೂ ಮತ್ತು ಮಲೇರಿಯಾದ ಲಾರ್ವದ ಬೆಳವಣಗೆಗೆÂ ಅವಕಾಶ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡಬಾರದು ಎಂದು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಾವಿದರು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರ
