Udupi : Sri Krishna through his messages of Balaleela and miracles, evangelized the Hindu culture. Sri Krishna with his messages was great contribution for Hinduism. Even for politicians also Sri Krishna gave good values through his messages, said H D Kumaraswamy, former Chief Minister of Karnataka.

After inaugurating the various cultural programmes on the occasion of Sri Krishnastami celebrations at Rajangana, Sri Krishna Temple here on Sunday, August 18, In Mahabharata, we can see the final result with winning the battle. In present situation of our politics also similar values we can see with the teachings of Sri Krishna, he said.

We must surrender to God the faults and mistakes. On Srikrishnastami we can see Sri Krishna with kids who decorating like him which is our custom. During the end of previous government, I noted certain words in Bible and Bhagawath Geethe. At the end we must see the God where there is no judges and there must keep our mistakes and faults to Sri Krishna’s foot, he said.

H D Kumaraswamy gave example that at the time of difficulties of the people, Sri Krishna asked the help of Govardhana Hill to protect the people, such way in the natural calamity like flooding, Sri Krishna will help and protection for his people, he said.

In his address Sri Sri Vidyadeesha Theertha Swamiji of Paryaya Palimar Mutt, said we should pray to Sri Krishna during the natural calamities and he will listen our views and difficulties. Sri Krishna loves the children and his people; hence, he will protect us with such natural calamities.

Former ministers’ Sa Ra Mahesh, Pramod Madhwaraj, Amarnath Shetty, MLA Raghupathy Bhat, MLC H L Bhoje Gowda, New Mangalore Fort Trust President Venkataraman Akkaraju and other dignitaries were present on the dais.
