Brahmavar : Music ignites all areas of child development intellectual social and emotional, motor, language and over all literacy. It helps the body and the mind work together. Patriotic song singing competition was organised at Nirmala English Medium School here on 14th August.
Patriotic songs are songs that demonstrate the love for once country or have themes that glorify self – sacrifice, lands beauty history, or Ideas.
The programme was filled with children’s brimming with enthusiasm and eagerness to showcase their talents. Students of various group participated in the competitions. The judge for the competitions were Sr. Jeevitha from Nirmala Kannada medium school, Brahmavar and Fr.Roshan D’souza from Holy Family church, Brahmavar. The students prepared well for the competition and a wide range of songs were presented. It was interesting that each child had worked hard to comprehend the lyrics and sing the song with conviction.
Their song invoked a strong sense of patriotism in each one who listened to their song. The room was resplendent with the feeling of belonging and pride of patriotism. We discovered potential talent in singing from amongst our students and are very optimistic that these students will bring glory to the school in the future.
It was a great show; the entire school was involved in cheering, encouraging and appreciating the singers. The success of the show could be judged by the smile on the faces of students and teachers.
