Brahmavar Police nabs theft case accused and recovers stolen cash with ornaments at Mangaluru

Udupi : The Brahmavar Police succeeded house robbery case and arrested the accused at the Jail Road in Mangaluru on Wednesday, August 21, 2019.
The arrested has been identified as Mohammed Ali alias Suresh (45), Son of Ahmed Bava, a resident of Kalavaru, near Pejawar, Bala village, Dakshina Kannada district.
AS per the media release note issued by the SP office here, Nataraj Hamzar a resident of Heggunje under Brahmavar police station limits complained that some persons’ had entry into his rented house between August 3 and August 6 and stealing cash and gold ornaments.
Under the direction of SP Nisha James, Additional SP Kumarachandra and DySP T Jaishanker, the Brahmavar Police team led by CPI Shrikanth and PSI Raghavendra succeeded to arrest the accused at Jail Road, Mangaluru.
The Police recovered 38.75 grams of gold worth Rs 1.20 lakh, cash Rs 3,00,550, an auto rickshaw worth about Rs 25,000 used for the said theft and an Omni car worth about Rs one lakh from the arrested accused. The total value of the gold ornaments and cash recovered worth Rs 5,45,550 approximately.
ASI Narayana, staff Venkatramana Devadiga, Praveen Shettigar, Ganesh Devadiga, Raghavendra Karkada, Dilip Kumar, Harish Prasad, Pradeep Nayak, Ganesh Vasudeva Poojary, Shekar, Vikram and Annappa took part in the arrest operation.
