Konkani Film ‘BENDDKAR’ Grand Premier Release in Dubai on October 25th & Tickets Release on 20th September

Ace Director Harry Fernandes’s much awaited yet another fully predicted to be hit Konkani movie is already completed and ready for release.  ‘BENDDKAR’ the name itself narrates is an entertainer which relates to one of the dying yesteryears art especially associated with the Catholic Community which is being highlighted and remembered for the first time in this movie.  The Dubai Grand Premier is scheduled for 25th of October, 2019 with Ticket Release function in Dubai will be on 20th September, 2019.

After successfully presenting hit Konkani movies like ‘Nashibacho Khel’, Zanvoy No. 1 & award winning ‘Sophiya’, the Mumbai imported experienced director Harry Fernandes is being promoting Konkani Movies for the Mangalorean as well as Goan Community and this time he is ready with ‘BENDDKAR’ as one of the Producer.

Under the banner of Harry Fernandez Films, Dolphi Rebello Production, Prince Jacob Production & Alvares Creations ‘BENDDKAR’ (The Musician) is now completed and scheduled for Censor in India.  ‘Benddkar’ is being created both in Mangalorean & Goan dialect to cater to all those film lovers of both states as well as abroad.

‘BENDDKAR’ has some of the well-known stars including Bollywood’s Varsha Usgaonkar, Goa’s Prince Jacob, John D’Silva, Kevin D’Mello & introducing Naisa Lotlekar with Mangaluru’s well known star Stany Alvares, Dubai’s stars Deepak Paladka, Joseph Mathais, Sunita Menezes & Claud  D’Leema with Cyril Castelino, Sneha Metha, Sujatha Andrade, Alwyn Andrade, Manu Bantwal, Nikita Peries, Dolphy D’Souza, Ivan Furtado, Hannah Furtado, Archibald Furtado, Salomi Alvares, Floyd Cascia & the famous Jolly Brass Band of Perampalli.

BENDDKAR’s Story, Screenplay, Dialogues & Direction is being creatively crafted by Harry Fernandes whose dream is to give importance to and highlight those Benddkar’s whom the current generation has completely forgotten with the invasion of modern days DJ’s.  He has plans to share a percentage of the profit from the screening of BENDDKAR to those distressed families of Benddkar’s.

Harry Fernandes Barkur never forgets his role model the famous Hindi Film Director Lawrence D’Souza of ‘Saajan’ fame with whom he was an Assistant Director and made films including ‘Nyay Anyay’, ‘Prateeksha’ etc.  He also was part of very many Marathi & Bhojpuri Films namely ‘Shame to Shame’, ‘ Ek Ful Char Half’, ‘Anjane – the Unknown, ‘Gola Barood’, ‘Bhumiputra’, ‘Aaj Ke Karan Arjun’, ‘Ganga Jamuna Saraswati’, ‘Bhojpuri Bhaiya’ etc.  Has worked with Super Stars like Govinda, Manisha Koirala, Sanjay Kapoor, Laxmikanth Berde, Ravi Kishan & Manoj Tiwari. His contribution to Cinema has credited him with very many Awards some of them to mention is the recent ‘Best Director Award’ for Konkani Film ‘Sophiya – the Dream Girl’ by Government of Karnataka, Hyssna Global Award and many more accolades in Bhojpuri films too.

‘Benddkar’ is all set to have a Grand Premier release in Dubai followed by releases all over the world including India (especially Mumbai, Goa & Mangalore).  It is assumed that with the support of Konkani linguistic community worldwide, this movie will make a big noise across Konkani Movie world and create a new record.
