Udupi : Kota Srinivasa Poojary, Minister for Muzarai, Fisheries, Ports and Inland Fisheries to appeal the chief minister  to set up a development corporation in the name of Brahmashree Narayana Guru’s to give voice to the prosperous people of the society.

He was inaugurated the 165th Jayanthi program of the Brahmashree Narayana Guru, held at the District Billava Community Hall in Katapadi Sri Vishwanath constituency by the District Council, District Panchayat and Kannada Culture Department.

He said that message of the Narayana gurus who claimed to be one caste, one community and one God is very relevant to the world today. The Guru wanted the whole world to live together as one family in peace, equality and coexistence. Minister Kota Srinivasa Poojary said the message of equality Narayana Guru preached to the world was ideal for all of us.

Kota said that born in a time when ambivalence and upward temper were at their disposal, the Narayana guru became the voice of society’s exploiters, sparking the revolution and embodied the writing of language. He asserted that all of mankind are equal, and made people aware, that they are the only states in the state where there is no parity, only Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts, the minister said that he would serve as a minister in the path of Narayana Guru’s principles and ideals.

Members of the delegation were Janardhana Tonse, Geetanjali Suvarna, Shilpa Suvarna, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sadashiva Prabhu, Kapu Tahsildar Muhammad Isaac, Katpadi Viswanath constituency president BN Shankar Poojary and Hon’ble President Shivanand were present.

Hiriyadka PU College Lecturer Nalinadevi M. R was resource person during the programme. The bhajana program was held by Sapna and Nagaraja Shet.

Assistant Director of Kannada and Culture Department Kumara Bekeri welcomed the gathering. Poornima was proposed vote of thanks and Dayananda Uggelbettu compered the programme.
