Print KNS conducts Inter-Parish Voviyo Verse competition
Mangalore, Sep 22, 2019: Konkani Natak Sabha®(KNS) Mangalore organized 1st Inter Parish Voviyo verse Competition for the different parishes of Mangalore Diocese at Don Bosco Hall here on Sunday September 22.
The competition was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by General Secretary Judi D’Souza, Convenor Floyd D’Mello along with the judges.
Cordel, Mariyashram, Cascia, Jeppu, Bondel, Urwa, Permannur, Ranipura and Kuilur parishes took part in the competition.
Cordel Parish bagged the first place, Mariyashram Parish won the second and Jeppu Parish the third.
Eric Soans, Arun Raj Rodrigues and Manohar Saldanha (Manu Bantwal) were the judges.
General Secretary Judi D’Souza welcomed the gathering and introduced the judges. Vice President Sunil Menezes announced the results.
Raymond D’Cunha compered. Convenor Floyd D’Mello proposed vote of thanks.
