Humanity’s Donors/ Fans celebrated Diwali in a unique way with the motto "Humanity is Our Religion".
This Diwali was made memorable by lightning the light of love not only in Susheela Poojary’s house but also in her life. Mrs. Archana Shetty inaugurated the renovated house along with Apsara- Namma Karla team.
The non-cement plastered house is now painted. New doors and windows are installed. A porch was made in front of the house and place for yard was made by crushing the rock present beside the house. Worn-out floor was repaired. Earlier there was a need for her to sit on the ground n cook but now well equipped stove is provided . Susheela Poojary, a window who works in a local hotel was saddened by the cement sheets at the height of six to six feet. In the midst of poverty, her daughter who scored 82% in PUC along with her brother lived in a uninhabitable house. We have responded to their pain by raising the roof and replacing the cement sheet with clay roof tiles.
Humanity team Bantwal , Falguni Seva Samithi along with the natives worked hard and cooperated for the accomplishment of this work.
Yogesh, who newly joined Humanity Trust Bantwal and worked hard regardless of heavy rain and wind was honored.
Mrs. Archana Shetty, who donated a large sum of Rs 45,000, was felicitated on behalf of all the Hindu community donors, who donated to this Diwali Project.
Ismail Shafeer, a local social worker donated sand and 25 bags of cement for the house work. Badajan Seva Friends Kuppepadau under the leadership of Muneer Nadupalla donated Rs 10,000. Muneer Nadupalla was felicitated on behalf of all the Muslim community donors.
Jossy D’Souza, an auto rickshaw driver who selflessly responds to others pain donated Rs. 5,000 to this Diwali project. Jossy D’Souza was felicitated on behalf of all the Christian donors who accompanied us for this Diwali project.
Success of anything achieved out of hatred and selfishness is not eternal, but little things done with lot of love and selflessness is eternal in the heaven. The festival of lights was celebrated in a unique way, not only by speech, but also by actions.
This Diwali project is not yet completed. Because of the hard work and sacrifice of many people this project costing nearly
Rs. 2,00,000 was completed within Rs.1,00,000. A few more donors are yet to be introduced and with the remaining amount our Humanity Team Bantwal is all set to start another similar project.
The joy on Susheela Poojary’s face filled our life with vitality. Humanity is the best religion to mankind.
