Udupi : As per the media release by the district police on Novmber 6, a case of unnatural death is registered in Shirva Police station on Fr. Mahash D’Souza (36), who was serving as the Principal of Don Bosco CBSE School, Shirva as well as assistant parish priest of Our Lady of Health Church, Shirva.
The deceased FR. Mahesh D’Souza due to some reasons in life he got dejected and committed suicide in the Principal’s room in the Don Bosco School Shirva on the night of October 11/12 by strangulating himself with a nylon rope.
The Shirva Police Sub-inspector has taken the investigation process in regard to Fr. Mahesh D’Souza’s unnatural death.
Nisha James, Superintendent of Police has been given order to Mahesh Prasad, Kaup Circle Inspector to conduct the investigation further on a top level and in a comprehensive manner and quickly.
