Supreme Court Verdict on Ayodhya dispute, Schools and colleges remain close on November 9

Udupi : In order to maintain law and order situation in the district, during the verdict on Ayodhya dispute on Saturday, November 9, all measures have been taken by the district administration.
The five member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice of Indian Ranjan Gogoi, will deliver the eagerly awaited judgment in the Ayodhya land title dispute case at 10.30 am.
As precautionary measures, the deputy commissioner of Udupi district G Jagadeesh has announced a holiday on November 9 to all the schools and PU Colleges.
The verdict will be delivered on November 9, as the Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi will be retiring on November 17.
All community leaders were held meetings and appealed to the people to maintain peace during the verdict and after the verdict. All the community leaders have requested the people to accept the verdict peacefully and desist from any protest or celebratory activities.
Nisha James, district Superintendent of Police advised the people to show restrain and desist from posting any provocative messages on social media. Police warned the people that strict legal action will follow in case of any such occurrence.
