Awareness of the Child help line “Child Line Say Dosti” to be held from 14th to 20th November

Udupi: The Child Line India Foundation will hold a "Child Line Say Dosti" across the country from November 14 to 20, which in Udupi district will hold under the auspices of District Administration, District Panchayat, District Legal Services Authority and Child Line Udupi, said Additional Deputy Commissioner Sadashiva Prabhu
He spoke at a news conference on Wednesday at the Deputy Commissioners’ office on Wednesday, November 13.
He said that the aim of the Child Line “Child line Say Dosti is to link ordinary citizens and beneficiaries with Child Line 1098, treating the month of November as a child rights month, not a one-off child continuum throughout the month, the Additional District Commissioner Sadashiva Prabhu said.
The inauguration of the Children’s Day and Child Line Say Dosti Sapthaha program will be held at the Government Integrated High School, Olakadu on November 14, which will be inaugurated by Dinakar Babu, President of Zilla Panchayat.
A total of 164 cases have been reported in the Udupi Children’s Helpline in the last six months and 148 cases have been successfully resolved. 14 cases are in progress and cooperation with the police, various departments of government and concerned is working hard to provide justice to children, he said.
One of the main objectives of the Childline Say Dosti Campaign is to raise awareness of the child helpline, and the public must be self-motivated in the care of troubled children. Ramachandra Upadhyay, Director of the Children’s Helpline, said that if any child rights violations were found, they should contact the helpline 1098 immediately.
