Houseful Screening of Konkani Movie ’Nirmillem Nirmonem’

Doha Qatar, Nov 29: Super hit Konkani movie ’Nirmillem Nirmonem’ was screened in Doha Qatar at the Asian Town Cinema Hall#4, on November 29, 2019 with one show at 04.30PM, under the banner of Canara Konkans, Qatar(CKQ) group.
This movie is based on a unique story on the obstacles and anxieties faced by the person looking for love. It is highly recommended for youth and their parents to watch as it has a beautiful message for them.
 
The Konkani speaking population from Qatar came in big numbers to watch this super hit Movie. The theatre was almost houseful. The show was a great success with people’s support. The NN movie show was well supported by Qatar Konkani Speaking community (KSC) and other Mangalorean/ Konkani Associations such as Mangalore Cricket club(MCC) & Mangalore Cultural Association(MCA) and was well attended by the managing committee & members these Assocaitions. In addition, this movie show was witnessed by the enthusiastic supporters from Heads of Karnataka based Associations such as Tulu koota, Qatar(TKQ), Karnataka Sangha, Qatar(KSQ) and South Kanara Muslim Welfare Association(SKMWA). The main Coordinator of this movie show in Qatar Mr. Aloysius Dsouza thanked all the Association leaders & their managing committee members & CKQ group members for their support in making this show successful. In addition, he also thanked for the promotional video clips provided in the media such as WhatsApp & Facebook by Lucy lobo Aranha/Lionnel from Kuwait, Hera Pinto, Film actor & Amit & Jason menezes team from Qatar. He also confirmed that the remaining amount after the expenses will be directly sent to one Kidney patient & also to support the house construction of another poor family back home.

The movie was released on August 23, 2019  in the city of Mangalore, and has been successfully doing well in theatres in the cities of Karnataka and many other cities worldwide.

Directed by Melwyn Elpel and produced by Henry D’Silva, this film has received a very good response from viewers in Qatar. Santhosh, Milan Markanja, Jerald and Rayan are the assistant directors of the film. Actors Pratap Menezes, Seema Buthello, Hera Pinto, Vinny, Ronnie Fernandes (Kuwait), Meenakshi, Hambert (Goa) and other famous personalities of the region are among the vibrant cast. Also from Qatar the very talented actors Mr. Aloysius Dsouza & Merlyn Dsouza have acted in this movie. which people of Qatar were eagerly waiting see their performance in this big screen for the first time. The screen play and co-direction has been written by Norbert John.
