Udupi : An FIR has been registered in Udupi Town Police Station here against Pune Billava President for allegedly threatening former minister, MP Vinay Kumar Sorake and journalist Dinesh Amin Mattu over the phone.
It is learnt that the Pune Billava Sangha President Kadthala Vishwanath Poojary during a telephonic conversation with Dinesh Amin Mattu, expressed his displeasure over the proposed inter-religious Billawa-Muslims Harmony meet supposed to be held on 11th January. Meanwhile the proposed harmony meet was scheduled has been postponed. Kadthala Vishwanath Poojary allegedly threatened Dinesh Amin Mattu and Vinay Kumar Sorake with life during the conversation, the recording of which has gone viral on social media.
The Udyavar Gram Panchayat member Diwakar Bolje filed a complaint against Kadthala Vishwanath Poojary in Udupi Town Police station.
