Print Udupi : Sri Ishapriya Theertha Swamiji, Junior Seer of Admar Math ascended the Sarvajna Peetha in Sri Krishna Math in the early hours of Saturday, January 18, 2020.
The Paryaya celebration began with the seer having a holy dip at the ‘Danda Teertha’ near Kaup at around 1.30am., along with participation of Sri Vidyasarara Theertha Swamiji, Sri Vidyavallabha Swamiji, Vishwavallabha Theertha Swamiji and Sri Vishwaprasanna Theertha Swamiji of Sri Krishna Math.
Followed by huge procession started from Jodukatte, near Big Bazar of Udupi towards Sri Krishna Math via Court Road, Diana Circle, Kalpana Talkies, Kolade Pete, Tenkapete street and culminated at Car Street. Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji of Puttige Math and Senior Seer of Admar Math not participated in the procession.
After culmination of procession, Ishapriya Theertha Swamiji had darshan at Kanakanakindi and moved towards Chandramauleshwara Temple and Anantheshwara temple and offered prayers.
Later, Akshaya Patra, ladle and key of the Math were handed over to Ishapriya Theertha Swamiji by outgoing Paryaya Palimar Swamiji which signifying handing over of Paryaya charge of Sri Krishna Math.
Shobha Karandlaje local MP, Raghupathy Bhat local MLAm Vinay Kumar Sorake former minister, Pramod Madhwaraj former Minister, U R Sabhapathy former MLA, political leaders and Sri Krishna Seva Balaga members were present.
