Print Annual Parish Feast of Valencia Church Celebrated
The annual parish feast of St Vincent Ferrer Church Valencia was celebrated in an atmosphere of devotion on Sunday January 26, 2020.
Prior to the solemn festal mass, Fr James D’Souza, the parish priest distributed ‘Candles of Honour’ to all the members of the Parish Pastoral Council, gurkars and representatives of the wards, presidents of various parish associations,people those who have contributed towards the feast and also the sponsors of the annual feast. Mr David Pais,vice president of the Parish Pastoral Council read out the list of names.
Fr Maxim Rosario the estate manager of the Mangalore diocese celebrated the solemn festal mass and preached the homily.In his homily stressed on the theme “Co-operation builds parish life”
Parish Priest Fr James D’Souza, Asst PP Fr Joswin D’Souza, Resident Priest Fr Arun Lobo,Fr Vincent Menezes,Fr Felix Monteiro,Fr Oswald Lasrado,Fr Remigus Aranha,Fr Anil Fernandes,Fr Alphonse Fernandes,Fr William Barracas were the Co-Celebrants.
Fr Maxim extended the festal greetings to the priests and all the parishioners. Parish Priest greeted the parishioners and thanked everyone for their contribution, participation and co-operation.
