Print Workshop on Advanced Techniques used in Bakery and Confectionery @ Sarosh Institute of Hotel Administration, NITTE Campus, Mangalore
08-02-2020, National Level Seminar on "Advanced Techniques used in Bakery and Confectionery" was conducted on Saturday, the 8th of February 2020 at the Sarosh Institute of Hotel Administration College Campus in Kodakal, Kannur. The Registration began at 8.30 am, students & Faculties from Moti Mahal College of Hotel Management, The Yenepoya Institute of Arts, Science, Commerce and Management Mangalore attended along with the students of S.I.H.A.
The seminar started with Lighting of the Lamp and a prayer song by the students.
Principal Mr.Amar Cherian welcomed the participants and students of SIHA. The Chief Guest, Chef. Sinu S Vijayan, Executive Chef The Gateway Hotel, inaugurated the event and delivered the Key note address.
The first Morning session
Resource person Prof. Amar Z. Cherian, Principal of the College who spoke of the Techniques used in bakery and confectionary and latest styles of plating dessert.
Second session
Resource person Ms. Shobha Chengappg, Coorg Paparika, Demonstrate latest Techniques used in chocolate making
Third session
Resource person Chef Sathish Kundar, Pastry chef, The Yenepoya Food Craft Demonstrate latest Techniques used in chocolate making cake icing.
