Police arrest four persons on Navi Mumbai Hotel owner murder case

Udupi: Four persons have been arrested by the Udupi police in a single day for killing a Mumbai-based ladies’ bar. Vashisht Satyanarayana Yadav, owner of Navi Mumbai hotel businessman Maya Bar and Restaurant was murdered.
The main accused in the murder, Sumit Mishra (23), a resident of New Delhi’s Hussaman city, was working with Maya Bar who left the job three months ago. He was quarrelling with the bar owner Vashisht Satyanarayana Yadav. The other accused are Abdul Shukoor @ Addu (35) from Suratkal Chokkabettu, Avinash Karkera (25) from Tenkamizaru Kandalabettu, Mangalore, Mohammed Sharif (32) from Udupi Shivalli Kunjibettu, are employees of Udupi-based AKMS bus.
Based on the CCTV footage the police succeeded in arresting the accused in Udupi. The police have also seized the car which was used for the crime.
Under the direction of Udupi district SP Vishuvardhan and the guidance of Additional SP Kumarachandra and DySP Jaishanker the operation was carried out by team led by Ananthapadmanabhan Circle Inspector of Brahmavar and Hiriyadka Police Station PSI Sudhakar Thonse.
