Puttur: Department of Commerce and IQAC of St Philomena College Puttur organized a State level intercollegiate Commerce Fest ‘AMBIORA 2020’ on February 11, 2020 in college auditorium.

The Chairman, Mangalore Branch of ICAI CA. Anantha Padmanabha K Vailaya inaugurated the Fest and delivered the inaugural address. The Campus Director and Chairman of PG Studies of the College Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro participated as the chief guest. The Principal Prof. Leo Noronha delivered the presidential address.

    The former Dean and HoD of Commerce Prof. Maxim Carl graced the occasion.

    Ms Prathima and team presented the prayer song. The Dean and HoD of Commerce Mrs. Premalatha K welcomed the gathering. Ms Farana S N introduced the chief guest. The Student coordinator Mr Sukumar proposed the vote of thanks. Ms Janhavi compeered the programme.

     The valedictory function of the Fest was held in the evening. The Principal Prof. Leo Noronha felicitated the prize winners in various events.

    ‘AMBIORA 2020’ consisted of ‘Marketing’, ‘Human Resource’, ‘Business Quiz’, ‘Finance’, ‘Best Manager’ and ‘Dance’. The students from 12 colleges have participated in these events.

    The overall championship trophy of the ‘AMBIORA 2020’ was bagged by SDM College of Business Management, Mangalore. The Runner up trophy was secured by St Aloysius College Mangalore.

    The Staff Coordinators Mrs. Harshitha D H, Mr. Thejaswi Bhat and Student Coordinator Mr Sushanth K coordinated the programme. Ms Shridevi K compered the programme.
