State goodwill and coexistence is threatening the society today - Muhammad Shafi Saadi

Udupi: State goodwill and coexistence is threatening the society today. The Muslim community should not fall victim to politically motivated violence, said State Wakf Board member and Karnataka Muslim Jama’at General Secretary  Muhammad Shafi Saadi, Bengaluru.

 

 

In a public awareness meeting on CAA, NRC at Legado Hotel Auditorium here on Thursday, February 20,  Muhammad Shafi Saadi said that in Karnataka in 15 districts, Karnataka Muslim Jama’ath units established with lakhs of members. Now days, we can see that somewhere damage for state goodwill and coexistence is existed. The foundation of the state goodwill and coexistence has been damaged. Hence Muslim community should not fall victim to politically motivated violence, he said.

He said there should need to spread of nationalism and coexistence in the country. Since 55 days, we are in the process of giving awareness on the nationalism and coexistence. There should not be the hatred type atmosphere, rather we should try to build the nation, he said.

The Constitution of this country is governed by India. India does not run on any one party manifesto. The government is here under the Constitution. If the administration works against it we have a judicial system. The law is allowed to fight. It should not be a cause of Hindu Muslim hatred. "We can build this country with love and not with hatred," he said.

 

 

He said all religious people should work and unite to build the strong India. We should not listen for the politicians. We are so brilliant to think about build the strong India. Muslims do not allow riots. We should act prudently. We must move forward in our intelligence. We have taken to the streets today for our rights, even though it has been 70 years since independence. Why haven’t we made progress in a different community? There are only seven MLAs in Karnataka, while there are about 85 lakh Muslims. He said there was no one MP. We have second populated in the state. There was no Rajya Sabha member in the parliament. We have only 51% people are literate and 49% people are illiterate. Only 12% people are in higher education like engineering etc. There is only one member in Bar Council. There should need to improve our position in the state, he said.

Inaugurating the campaign, Jama’ath State Vice President Dr.Muhammad Fazilah Razvi, said that Humanity is declining today. Increase in distrust of each other. Today humanity has to work everywhere. Today, young people are being victimized by criminal acts, such as the drug mafia. He said that work should be done to get away from it.

 

Indian Muslims love this ground like their parents. Patriotism is also in our blood cells. Muslims are always ready to defend this country. He said everyone should do the job of building the country by strengthening harmony in the society.

Muslim Jama’ath State Vice President Abu Sufi Yan Ibrahim Madani presided over the programme. Senior journalist BM Hanif Bangalore, retired KAS officer Ijaz Ahmad Bellary presented the topic.

State Secretary of Jama’ath  KM Aboobacker Siddique Montagoli, State Wakp Board member Yahkuba Yusuf Shivamogga, Sayyid Junaid Thandal, Jamaat Baltangadi Taluk President Sayyid SM Maulana Nazeer Azhari, District President of Jamaat and Chairman of the Program Management Committee Haji P. Abu Bakr Najar was the chief guest.

Leaders such as Sayyid Farid Udupi, Muhammad Naeem Katapadi, BSF Rafeeqa Kundapur, KSM Mansour, Haji Abdu Parkala, Sheikh Ghous Karkala, Abdurrahman Malpe, Muhammad Moula were also present.

State Secretary of Jamaat, MBM Swadiq welcomed the gathering. District Secretary Subhan Ahmed proposed vote of thanks.  K.A. Abdurrahman Razvi Kalcatta and YBC Basheer Ali Muloor compared the programme.
