Catholic Sabha, Mount Rosary, Church, Kallianpur Unit elects new Executive Council and Office bearers for the period 1st April, 2020 to 31st March, 2021.

Enthusiastic Lifetime Members of Catholic Sabha Mount Rosary Church, Kallianpur gathered together in the adjacent Mini Hall at 9.15 a.m. on 1st March, 2020, to elect the new Office bearers for the forth-coming year, 2020 – 21.

Outgoing President Mr. Elias D’Souza warmly welcomed all the members present, as well as Central Committee Election Officer Dr. Gerald Pinto and Observer Mrs. Priscilla Lewis and MC of the proceedings Mr. Luke D’Souza gave their brief introduction to the audience and handed over the stage to them to conduct the smooth and fair election. While appreciating the manifold activities of one of the most visible and active Unit in the Deanery and Diocese, today, also in the past, especially their team work to organize land mark event ‘Samajotsav’ and acknowledging the leadership and services of various office bearers, over the years, they outlined the rules and regulations and broad objectives and implied responsibilities of the various posts and positions.

In the beginning Parish Priest Rev. Dr. Leslie D’Souza, in his brief message, appreciated the services of President and his team in the betterment of Church in the previous year and wished good luck and invoked  Almighty Lords blessings on the new group that going to take over.

In the beginning Breakfast was arranged for all and to conclude the meeting outgoing Secretary Mrs. Maria Wilma Rego proposed vote of thanks to all the Members present, especially Vicar, Election Officers and past and present Deanery, Diocesan and Central level office bearers and congratulated the newly elected President and her team and wished all the very best in their forthcoming tenure.
