Two more tests COVID 19 positve in Udupi district, raises three in district

Udupi : Two more persons testing with positive for the Coronavirus in Udupi district which the total cases raised to 3 in the district, said Home Minister and Udupi district in-charge minister Basavraj Bommai.
A 35 year old male is a resident of Manipura in Kaup taluk who returned from Dubai on March 17. Due to symptoms’ of coronavirus, he was admitted in Karkala Government Hospital on March 27 after positive report of coronavirus.
Another case, a male patient aged 29 years old had travelled to Kerala who works as an electrician. He has no recent history of international travel while he had been to Thiruvanthapuram of Kerala on work along with team of 31 electricians. He also admitted to Udupi government hospital on March 26 with cough, fever and other symptoms. A sample of his throat was sent to the test, the report came back positive today.
Both the patients are undergoing treatment in KMC Hospital, Manipal. Altogether, three have tested positive for Coronavirus in the district are undergoing treatment in KMC Hospital, Manipal.
