Dublin (Ireland), Apr 17: In a tragic and heart-breaking incident, 34-year-old Loyal Sequeira native of Mangaluru, died in a road accident in Dublin on April 15. His wife 36-year-old Sharon Sequeira nee Fernandes followed her husband in death, reportedly due to massive shock, the very next day on April 16.

The young couple, who settled in Ireland, had married in May 2016 and have two kids.

Loyal is the son of Ligory and Lilly Sequeira who also live in Dublin.

Sharon is the daughter of well-known movie producer and managing director of Mosaco Shipping Company Frank Fernandes and Alice Fernandes who hails from Thottam, Udupi.

According to a local Ireland online news portal, Loyal was walking on the M1 in Co Meath, died following a collision involving a car on the southbound section of the motorway in the early hours of April 15. The collision happened near Junction 8 exit ramp south of Drogheda at 12.15 am.

The driver of the car escaped without any injuries.

Speaking to Daijiworld, Frank Fernandes said that the family is going through a terrible time and no mood in speaking anyone on phone. Hence, he requested all well-wishers to respect privacy without calling him on the phone.

Funeral Details:
The funeral Mass of the departed couple will be held at St Peter’s Church, Little Bray, on Tuesday, April 21 at 10.45 am. Burial will be at 12 noon.

ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಮೂಲದ ದಂಪತಿ ಐರ್ಲೆಂಡ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾವು

ಮಂಗಳೂರು: ಐರ್ಲೆಂಡ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಅಪಘಾತದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಮೂಲದ 34 ವರ್ಷದ ಲಾಯಲ್ ಸಿಕ್ವೇರಾ ಎಂಬುವರು ಸಾವನ್ನಪ್ಪಿದ್ದು, ಪತಿ ಸಾವಿನ ಸುದ್ದಿ ತಿಳಿದು ಆಘಾತದಿಂದ ಪತ್ನಿಯೂ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.

ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 15ರಂದು ಡಬ್ಲಿನ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ರಸ್ತೆ ಅಪಘಾತದಲ್ಲಿ ಲಾಯಲ್ ಸಾವನ್ನಪ್ಪಿದ್ದರು. ಪತಿಯ ಸಾವಿನ ಸುದ್ದಿ ಕೇಳಿ ಆಘಾತಕ್ಕೊಳಗಾದ ಪತ್ನಿ ಶರೋನ್ ಸಿಕ್ವೇರಾ (36) ಅವರು ಏ.16 ರಂದು ಸಾವನ್ನಪ್ಪಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದಿದೆ.

2016ರಲ್ಲಿ ಮದುವೆಯಾಗಿ ಐರ್ಲೆಂಡ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿದ್ದ ಈ ದಂಪತಿಗೆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಲಾಯಲ್ ಅವರ ತಂದೆ ಲಿಗೊರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಲಿಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ವೇರಾ ಅವರು ಸದ್ಯ ಡಬ್ಲಿನ್ ನಲ್ಲೇ ನೆಲೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರ ಪತ್ನಿ ಶರೋನ್ ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕ ಮತ್ತು ಮೊಸಾಕೊ ಶಿಪ್ಪಿಂಗ್ ಕಂಪನಿಯ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಫ್ರಾಂಕ್ ಫೆರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಉಡುಪಿಯ ತೊಟ್ಟಂ ಮೂಲದ ಆಲಿಸ್ ಫರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ ಅವರ ಮಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
