Udupi: DC G. Jagadeesh gave strict warning to some Mumbai based miscreants that "If you sit in Mumbai and make a “DON” like phone, nobody will be afraid. We are the health care of 13 lakh people in the district. If anybody does so tomorrow, they will be imprisoned without any hesitation,"

Some miscreants during the lock down period, sitting in Mumbai like ‘don’ calling us with some silly matters. Not only are they calling, they are also uploading the audio of those conversations to social networking sites. They record phone conversations and make them go viral. Jagdeesh has warned that if anyone does this from tomorrow, he will be imprisoned without such a thing.

The game of threatening for district administration in future do not happens. We have been working day and night for the past three months, including all the bureaucrats and medical staff in the Udupi district. Apart from lunch and snacks, we are working for the people of the district. So, no matter how big a man who will give mental abuse to COVID warriors, he will be prosecuted. Jagdeesh has also warned that the district will not leave stone-diggers in the buttermilk.

Those in the Quarantine Center of the district are not allowed to provide home meals and clothes. It can spread the infection. In this regard, he said, those in the Quarantine Center who come from outside the state should necessarily cooperate with the district administration.
