Udupi: Tablighi Jamaat members’ systematic plan is to spread the coronavirus across the country. A case of treason must be filed against them. They do not deserve forgiveness, said Shobha Karandlaje, Member of Udupi-Chickmagluru Lok Sabha Constituency.
Addressing a press meet at BJP district office near Kadiyali on Friday, June 5, Shobha Karanlaje said that a comprehensive investigation into the matter is needed. Also the plan to spread this epidemic in slum areas is a fresh example of the Siddiqui layout incident which needs to be investigated.
In relate to coronavirus pandemic in the country, she said the coronavirus has dampened the spirit of the country. The Modi government succeeded to repair the Nehru made mistakes in the country and succeeded to stop the corruption, middleman system in the various projects, Due to coronavirus pandemic, the country is falling behind the economy. All over the country there would be 640 COVID-19 testing labs are available.
Shobha said that since five years of ruling in the centre, there is no single corruption case registered on the Union government. Modi government is presently one of the top governments in the world and trying to get the place in world body. The Union government is safeguarding the fundamental rights of the all the citizens of the country. Several projects like Ujjwal, swachh bharat and other are very popular in the country as well. The people of the country are very proud of Narendra Modi, she said.
She said after the introduction of section 370 In Jammu and Kashmir, more than 90 percent terrorism stopped In the valley. People can freely move the streets of Kashmir without fear. The government builds up several national highways around the border areas. Long standing Ram Mandir problem solved, triple talaq system problem solved and many other issues were solved by the Modi government. Even CAA bill was implemented in the midst of fierce opposition. During the partition with Pakisthan, larger areas of Punjab gone to Pakisthan including the famous Sikh temple, she said.
The state government has received a grant of Rs 2,19,000 crore from the Center. Moreover, railway electrification works have begun. A proposal was sent to the Center to double the railway tracks. But the Ministry of Environment has faced fears of objection. Meanwhile, the central government respects the demands of our state, she said.
On June 4, 130 people boarded a train. 281 new passes issued since the end of May. People need to give more importance to their health at this critical time, Shobha Karandlaje said.
District BJP President Kuyiladi Suresh Nayak, Kaup MLA Lalaji Mendon, former district president Mattaru Rathnakar Hegde, Zilla Panchayat President Dinakar Babu, former BJP district president Udayakumar Shetty, BJP Udupi city block President Mahesh Takur, Kuthyaru Naveen Shetty were present.
