Print Udupi: Against the Coronavirus fight is a constant struggle, we have to fight as long as there is a coronavirus pandemic. We need to do a war against Covid-19. Today we are at the start of the Corona flight. So we need to do a war against Corona, said District Collector G Jagadeesh.
He was speaking at the doctors’ day celebrations held at the IMA Bhavan on Wednesday, July 1 by the Indian Medical Association, Udupi Karavali Branch.DC said that it is not a time honor for corona warriors. The district administration has been intended to honor corona warriors when corona fight ends, he said.
The Corona fight requires the cooperation of all doctors. Dr. Sasikharan is coaching the Corona Warriors. The Udupi district should be a model for the state and the country in this regard. In this regard, the community should be protected from infection. Since Udupi district is a model district in all sections of the state, Corona aspired to be a model for fighting, he said.
During the occasion, Dr. Vasudeva Somayaji, Outstanding Surgeon and Dr. Srinivas Rao Koradkal, doctor at Katapady were felicitated by the DC.
Dr. Prabhakar Shetty, Dr. BBC Roy Award winner of IMA State Unit was honored. Members who fought against Covid-19 were also honored.
Udupi IMA President Dr Umesh Prabhu, Dr Prakash Bhat, Dr Ranjita S Nayak, Dr Chandrashekar and large number of doctors’ were present.
