Udupi : As many as Two Hundred and Thirteen new cases for Coronavirus test positive reported on Friday, July 31, which takes the total positive cases in the district so far to 4356.
As many as 1419 persons are currently in home quarantine.
A total of 311 people are in isolation wards including 40 fresh admissions on Friday. Among the new admissions in isolation wards there is 9 Coronavirus suspect; 7 have Severe Acute Respiratory System (SARI) and 24 are influenza like illness (ILI). As many as 1612 people, including 42 Friday have been released from Isolation wards so far.
A total of 31,665 samples have been collected so far including 621 on Friday, out of which 501 are covid suspects and 72 are covid contacts, no SARI, 36 are ILI and other Hot Spot are 12.
A total of 26,747 samples have turned out to be negative so far in the district, including 455 on Friday and 562 reports are awaited.
As many as 4356 confirmed positive cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the district, including 213 on Friday, July 31.
As many as 2522 patients have been discharged so far, including 199 patients are discharged from Covid hospitals today. 1805 cases are currently active. Twenty Nine deaths have occurred so far in the district. One positive case has been transferred to Dakshina Kannada district.
