Print BJP leaders in Karnataka welcome Annamalai to the party
Karnataka Medical Education Minister K Sudhakar on Tuesday welcomed former Karnataka cadre IPS officer Annamalai to BJP. "Retired IPS officer Annamalai joins the BJP today. Annamalai who served honestly in Bengaluru, Chikkamagaluru sought voluntary retirement and is now joining the BJP. It gives me great happiness that he is joining the party. Wishing him the very best," K Sudhakar said in a tweet.
K Annamalai will join the BJP today in Delhi in the presence of BJP National General Secretary P Muralidhar Rao and Tamil Nadu BJP State President L Murugan.
Former IPS officer, Annamalai served in Karnataka for nearly a decade. In May 2019, Annamalai resigned from his post as Deputy Commissioner of Police (Bengaluru South).
Meanwhile, Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha tweeted a photo with Annamalai and said that he met Annamalai yesterday in New Delhi.
Bengaluru Central MP PC Mohan also welcomed Annamalai in a tweet. “Former IPS officer @annamalai_k who changed the face of police administration with his versatility and dynamism will be joining BJP at the national HQ today in presence of National General Secretary Shri @PMuralidharRao ji and @BJP4TamilNadu president Shri @Murugan_TNBJP ji," he tweeted.
