Udupi Floods: Picnic Paradise in Kukkude Kudru Washed Away, Fisherman losses in Lakhs - [Watch Video]

Udupi/Kemmannu, Sep 22, 2020: In an sad news reported from Kukkde Kudru in Kemmannu, Udupi District. Picnic Paradise a picnic place in Kukude Kudru owned and managed by AVITH faced huge losses due to damages caused by floods in Udupi.

Avith has developed this place for tourist and many visited  and enjoyed the beauty away from their daily routines in this place during the fast few years. The flood has caused huge damage to this place and to Avith. The water now has subsided and exact damage being assessed.

In a similar such incident another Fisherman from Paduthonse/Bengre who was in Fish cultivation business for the last 5 years has lost everything during this Udupi Floods. The two ponds where this fish cultivation was carried out was completely washed away in the flood water. More than 5000 quantity fish which were getting ready to fish out in a couple of months from now has been lost in the flood.

Gopal Kundar and Malathi Kundar family who was completely involved in this business are in Huge loses and completely lost their crop and investment. The estimated loss is around Rs. 13 Lakhs and the poor Fishermen family is looking support from the government.
