174 new cases for coronavirus test positive on October 13 in Udupi district

Udupi : As many as 174 new cases tested for coronavirus positive and one death reported in Udupi district on Tuesday, October 13, which takes the total positive cases in the district so far to 19,922 and deaths tally 168.
According to the district health bulletin to the media, among 174 covid positive cases, 63 cases reported as symptomatic, out of which 42 are male and 21 are females, meanwhile out of 111 cases of asymptomatic, 55 are males and 56are females.
Among 174 positive cases, whereas positive cases from Udupi are 68, from Kundapura 40 and Karkala taluk are 58 and from other districts are 8.
Details of admissions/Isolation on October 13 are: Out of 174 positive cases, COVID care Centre and in designated COVID Hospital, in designated COVID Health Hospital are 10 and Home Isolation is 164.
A total of 1,48,476 samples have been collected so far including 1431 on 13.10.2020, A total of 1,28,554 samples have turned out to be negative so far in the district, including 1234 on today. Total discharged patients till today are 17,738 patients including 186 today.
As many as 19,922 confirmed positive cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the district including 319 today. Till today 166 persons are succumbed to death due to Coronavirus in the district, including one death reported today on Tuesday, October 13.
