Udupi : Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi the Union government passed three farm Bills which will be the death ordinances of the farmers in the country, said MLC and AICC General Secretary B K Hariprasad.

Addressing after the inauguration of “Grameena Jana Sampark Abhiyana” and signatures campaign against the three farm bills at Congress Bhavan, Brahmagiri here on Thursday, October 15, B. K. Hariprasad said that the three Bills passed in the parliament without any discussions in the both the parliaments. The bills passed unconstitutionally, he said.

He said that the Congress will collect more than 30 crores farmers’ signatures in favour of 5 crore farmers in the country and to be submitted to President of India against the three farm bills. Without any discussions on the three farm bills which will be severe trouble for farmers’ life in the future, he said.

Gopal Poojary former Byndoor MLA also spoke during the occasion. District Congress President Ashok Kumar Kodavoor spoke in regard to Grameena Janasampark Abhiyan campaign. General Secretary Kushal Shetty welcomed the gathering and Neere Krishna Shetty proposed vote of thanks. Spokesperson of the district Bhaskar Rao Kidiyoor compered the programme.
