Bengaluru : The Indian Meteorological Department has issued to fisheries warning  from 21^st October to 24^th October, 2020 that squally weather with wind speed reaching 40-50 Kmph is likely to prevail over Karnataka Coast. Fishermen are advised not to venture into these areas during the period mentioned period.

Special weather warning : A low pressure area is very likely to develop over Central Bay of Bengal during next 24 hours.

Day 1(20.10.2020) : Squally weather with wind speed raching 40-50 Kmph is likely to prevail over West Central Bay of Bengal, North Andaman sea. Strong wind with speed reaching 40-50 Kmph is likely to prevail over North West and West Central Arabian Sea.

Day 2(21.10.2020) : Squally weather with wind speed reaching 40-50 Kmph is likely to prevail over West Central Bay of Bengal, North Andaman Sea.

Day 3(22.10.2020) : Squally weather with wind speed reaching 40-50 Kmph is likely to prevail over West Central Bay of Bengal, South Maharashtra – Goa – Karnataka Coast.

Day 4(23.10.2020) : Squally weather with wind speed reaching 40-50 Kmph is likely to prevail over West Central Bay of Bengal, South Maharashtra – Goa – Karnataka Coast.

Day 5(24.10.2020) : Squally weather with wind speed reaching 40-50 Kmph is likely to prevail over South Maharastra – Goa – Coastal Karnataka.

Fishermen are advised not to venture into these areas during the period mentioned period.
