Print Udupi: As per the information available under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Kumarachandra KSPS raided Aditi Saurabha Apartment and seized 32 grams of foreign hydroids ganja, 9 grams of brown sugar and 25 MDMA tablets on Saturday, October 31.
The total estimated value of the seized banned narcotics will be Rs. 3,89,000 / -.
In relate to the case, Aditya Prabhu(28)years old, a medical student of KMC Medical College who was residing at the Aditi Saurabha Apartment, Room No 204. Police arrested him and collecting more information. Some more students involved in the case have been detained and are pending trial. This is the 4th case of synthetic drugs seized by the Udupi police in the past 1 month.
Anish Rajan (22)
An Investigation Team has traced the case of Anish Rajan (22), a US-based indigenous student, who is currently in custody. According to a senior Udupi Police Superintendent, Shri Vishnuvardhana IPS, action against drugs is still on.

The raid was carried out on under the guidance of Superintendent of Polie Vishnuvardhan, Additional Superintendent of Police Kumarachandra, DySP. T R Jaishankar, other team members are Hariram Shankar ASP Kundapur, Manjunath Gowda PSI Manipal, Rajshakar P., PSI Manipal, Udupi Deputy Drugs Controller Nagaraj, Village Accountants Girish Gauravgosh and Upendra Kumar, Manipal police station staff Navgeen Kumar, Shantaram and Staff of ASP office Ashok Patkar.
