Print Udupi DC Raids Rice Mill - 600 Quintals of Illegal Stock of Rice Seized.
Udupi, Nov 2, 2020: Udupi District Deputy Commissioner G. Jagdeesh along with concerned officials raided a rice mill in Shiriyar in Udupi District and Seized illegal stock of PDS rice about 600 Quintals and the vehicles from the site.
After getting reliable information about stock of illegal rice belongs to Public Distribution System, DC accompanied by officials from Food, Civil Service and Consumer Affairs seized the rice worth 16.5 Lakhs.
The team also seized 6 Trucks, two 407, Tata 909 and a Maruti Eeco, which was used for this illegal trade.
