Manipal, 9^th November: Dr N. Udupa, Professor of Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Former Director of Research, MAHE, Manipal authored, edited and published a book entitled ‘Establishment of Universities of Eminence in India’ recently. The book was released by Dr H S Ballal, Pro Chancellor and Lt General (Dr) M D Venkatesh, Vice Chancellor of MAHE, Manipal on 9th November 2020. Dr Ballal lauded research contributions of Dr Udupa and said this book is very informative and showcases the universities of eminence in India. Lt Gen (Dr) Venkatesh congratulated Dr N Udupa for bringing out this book at the time university rankings are of paramount importance. Dr PLNG Rao (Pro Vice Chancellor), Dr Vinod Bhat (Executive Vice President), Dr Raviraja N S (Director, Corporate Relations) and Mr S P Kar (Director PR & Media) of MAHE and Mr. Prashant Shetty of Navayuga Press, Udupi  were present during the release event.

Dr N.Udupa interviewed about twenty five Vice Chancellors of Indian Universities including former Vice Chancellors of MAHE Manipal and compiled this valuable Book for the benefit of students,faculty,parents and well-wishers and university libraries. The top world ranked universities are listed and required quality standards, infrastructure requirements for setting world class Eminent Universities are given in this book. The Book is priced Rs. 100/ only.
