Udupi Helpline Organises Thonse Blood Donation Camp 2021

Udupi, Feb 21, 2021: Udupi Helpline an organisation of like minded volunteers that works for many social causes in and around the region of Udupi, organised ‘Thonse Blood Donation Camp 2021’ at Little Flower Hall in Kemmannu

This program was presided by Mr. B M Zaffer, Founder of Thonse Health Centre Hoode. Speaking on the occasion Mr B M Zaffer congratulated Mr Mahesh Poojary the president of Udupi Helpline and applauded his efforts in organising various programs for benefit of the needy.

Achievers in many fields like art, music, social service etc were felicitated by the dignitaries present at the event.

This blood donation camp was organised with the support of Malabar Gold and Diamonds, Udupi. The employees of Malabar Gold and Diamonds also participated in donating blood at this camp. Speaking on the occasion Mr.Hafeez Rehman, from Malabar Gold Udupi urged more people to come forward to donate blood and support the needy. He also assured his full cooperation and support to poor families who are in distress and in need of medical help. The people in the audience lauded the efforts of Mr Hafeez and his team

Volunteers from various organisations came together to make this blood donation drive a huge success. A few organisations that were a part of this camp included Dharmastala Manjunateshwara Trust, L N Beach Development committee, Gujjarbettu, Karavali Auto Union, Hoode and Edabettu Friends, Edabettu

The Blood was donated to the Blood Bank of the Dist Govt Hospital in Udupi. All donors were given a certificate of appreciation and a momento for donating blood. Over 75 units of blood have been collected at the event today
