Udupi: Janaushadhi Week-2021 from March 1- 7

MARCH 1-7, 2021: We  are celebrating  Janaushadhi Week-2021 from March 1- 7, 2021, as part of  celebration Janaushdhi Diwas across India as announced by Hon.Prime Minister of India Shri. Narendra Modi.

The Janaushadhi Week Celebration aims to create awareness about the use of Generic Medicines, highlighting the initiatives undertaken by Govt. of India in the direction of making quality health care affordable to all & awareness on Women Health care & Hygiene.

As part of Celebration we are organising  Janaushadhi – Health-Hygiene Awareness programs, Free Health Check-up in all our PMBJK Centres, Interaction with Medical Doctors and Janaushadhi Consumers etc.,

We will be conducting Janaushdhi – Health – Hygiene Awareness programs in 22 schools  located in urban and rural place in Udupi district. Nearly 20 well-known doctors will be participating as resources persons. This program will start from March 01, 2021 and March 06,2021. Free health checkup  program will be held in PMBJK belongs to Sadhguru Souharda Sahakari ltd located in Kinnimulki-Udupi, Manipal, Malpe, Santhekatte, Katpady,  Saligrama,Byndoor, Belman, Hiriyadka,Bailoor.

March 07,2021, The Janaushadhi Interaction with Doctors and Consumers will be held on March 07, 2021 at Sadhguru Souharda Sahakari , Kinnimulki, Udupi, 9.30am.

Sadhguru Souharda Sahakari Ltd is a multipurpose Co-operative Society   established in the year 2016 by a group of dynamic like-minded educated people from Udupi, coastal district of Karnataka, who have concern about our Socio-Economical Development of the society. Sahakari is  registered under Karnataka Souharda Co-operative Act 1997, in the year 2015 (Reg.No: 4141).

The society is working on the principle of Ethics, Honesty, Sincerity and Dedication with long term vision and wide range of aims and objectives. It has a wide range of service programs in the field of Financial Services, Health Care, Education & Social Community Development  Projects.

In association with Govt. of India, Sahakari has established Pradhanamantri Bharthiya Janaushadhi Kendras in Ten different  locations in Udupi district. It has been serving around 10,000 customers.

Sahakari received The Best Model Janaushadhi Kendra award from Mr.Sadananda Gowda, Union Minister for Chemical & Fertilizers, in awarding function held at Chennai on August 29, 2019.

Sahakari is providing wide range of health services like – Regular Free BP, Blood Sugar Checkup, Health camps, Health Awareness Programs,Janasushadhi Arogya Mela etc. It is also providing Free ECG testing facility in collaboration CAD(Cardiology at Door Steps Foundation led by Dr.Padmanabha Kamath, Mangalore) at Belman  &  Saligama Centres in Udupi district. Many people have benefited from our services.
