Print Kemmannu : Police Raid Illegal Sand Quarry
Kemmannu, June 22, 2021: Dept of Mining and Geology conducted a raid at an illegal sand mining business being conducted near Kambala Thota in Kemmannu
The raid was conducted at around 2.00pm in the afternoon under the leadership of geologist Mr Mahesh . When the squad raided the quarry, they weren’t able to find the culprits in action, but have however managed to Seize upto 4 boats that were allegedly being used for this business.
This raid ended up creating quite a spectacle for onlookers as, These boats were loaded on to trucks with the help of a crane at kemmannu bridge.

ಕೆಮ್ಮಣ್ಣು, ಜೂನ್ 22, 2021: ಕೆಮ್ಮಣ್ಣುವಿನ ಕಂಬಳ ತೋಟಾ ಬಳಿ ಅಕ್ರಮ ಮರಳು ಗಣಿಗಾರಿಕೆ ವ್ಯವಹಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಣಿಗಾರಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಭೂವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಇಲಾಖೆ ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಿತು
ಭೂವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಹೇಶ್ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ 2.00 ರ ಸುಮಾರಿಗೆ ಈ ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ತಂಡವು ಕ್ವಾರಿ ಮೇಲೆ ದಾಳಿ ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ, ಅವರು ಅಪರಾಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ಈ ವ್ಯವಹಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬಳಸಲಾಗಿದೆಯೆಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾದ 4 ದೋಣಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಈ ದಾಳಿಯು ನೋಡುಗರಿಗೆ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಚಕಿತರನ್ನಾಗಿಸಿತ್ತು, ಈ ದೋಣಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡು ತೋನ್ಸೆಯ ಕೆಮ್ಮಣ್ಣು ಸೇತುವೆ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರೇನ್ ಮೂಲಕ ವಹಾನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತುಂಬಿಸಿ ಪೋಲಿಸರು ತಮ್ಮ ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆದು ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ

I am surprised. In villages mostley people know what is going on in their surrounding s, but in this case, no one knows who is the culprit.  Agree[1]
