Udupi : Vinay Kumar Sorake is a senior politician and former district in-charge minister of Udupi district. Whenever he speaking, he should hold and control his tongue. If he speaks derogatory words on Hindus, our workers will revolt against him and send back to his native Puttur once again, said district BJP president Kuilady Suresh Nayak.

During the press meet held at BJP’s Office, Kadiyali, Kulaidy Suresh Nayak said that there was protest meeting held at Shirva of Kaup legislative constituency recently on price rise, Vinay Kumar Sorake said against the Hindus and worshipers of Daiyvas and also spoke on construction of Ram Mandir at Ayodya.  In order to appease minorities, Sorake spoke uttur words against the Hindus. While speaking, Sorake should control his tongue. Otherwise, it would be difficult for him in politics. We welcome politics, but he should not speak derogatory on Hindus and Daiyvas of the land. In democracy, he is free to talk on price rise during the protest or somewhere. We also doing politics, but not appease certain community to get the votes. You can do the politics, but not to try disturb of Hindus religious feelings,  he said.

Suresh Nayak said that Hindus are collecting money for the construction of Ram Mandir throughout the country and got better response by the Hindus at large. However, Vinay Kumar Sorake is also Hindu. What his personal contribution to construction of Ram Mandir. There are more Muslim and Christian voters in Kaup constituency. In order to make happy to these communities, Vinay Kumar Sorake made derogatory words on Hindus and he crossed his limits, he said.

In reply to question by media persons in regard to murder case of Yadamoge Uday Kumar Ganiga, Suresh Nayak said that we know that former Byndoor MLA Gopal Poojary and former MLA Vinay Kumar Sorake visited the deceased Uday’s house recently, the present Byndoor MLA also visited the deceased house and our workers already given the compensation of Rs. One lakh for the family members of deceased. We have sympathy towards the deceased family. The district BJP is urging the police to apprehend the real culprits from the day of murder have taken place. The district police is doing their best investigation on this murder. There is no question of taking shelter or whatsoever to the culprits of murder and not protect the accused. Congress people trying to politicize the issue, he said.

In other question, Suresh Nayak said that the district MLAs are doing excellent job in their respective constituencies. Raghupathy Bhat of Udupi and Sunil Kumar of Karkala development the agricultural matters in their respective areas while Lalaji Mendon of Kaup and Sukumar Shetty of Byndoor were busy with solution for the people on corona pandemic and vaccination programmes, he said.
