Udupi, Aug 01: Inesh Miranda of Our lady of Lourdes Church, Kanajar was unanimously elected president of Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) of the Udupi diocesan central council for the year 2021-22 on Sunday August 01 at Bishop’s House, Udupi.

Ver Rev Fr Charles Menezes, Director of ICYM Udupi Diocese announced the new office-bearers for the year 2021-22. He also administered the oath taking ceremony and wished the office bearers a fruitful year of service and leadership. Prior to this the Director conducted a short session to the Presidents and secretaries of all the units and motivated them to reach to the peripheries in the words of Pope Francis.

Mr Derick Mascarenhas, the program coordinator of the diocesan youth commission compered the programme. 

Around 50 presidents and secretaries of ICYM parish units were present for the meeting and installation ceremony of the new council.
