Print Kallianpur, Udupi - August 15 : The 75th Independence day celebration was held with great pride and joy at Milagres English Medium School Kallianpur.
The correspondent of Milagres Educational Institutions Very. Rev. Fr Valerian Mendonsa hoisted the flag followed by National anthem. Student representative Ankitha Bhat spoke on the significance of the day. Correspondent gave a meaningful message on this occasion and teachers joined voices for a patriotic song.
The Scout Guide Rajyapuraskar awardees of the school and the achievers of SSLC examination were felicitated. Headmistress Sr Shanti Pramila, Primary Headmistress Mrs Veera, Asst. Parish Priest Rev. Fr Joy, teachers and few parents were present for the programme.
Mrs Irene compered the programme Mrs. Priya welcomed and Mrs Poornima proposed the vote of thanks. Live streaming of the whole programme made children involve virtually by being at home.
